20L-60L Extrusion Blow Molding Mold with Customized Cooling Channel Design and Beryllium Copper Insert for HDPE Jerry Can Blow Mold Production

For 20-60L jerry cans and large plastic containers, mold customization must begin with the actual product instead of a standard cavity design. Our custom extrusion blow molding molds are developed according to the customer's bottle sample, 2D drawing, 3D file, product dimensions, neck structure, handle design, target weight and production requirements. This allows the mold structure to match the real product geometry and the blow molding machine more accurately.

During the design stage, we evaluate the parting line, handle area, bottom structure, neck forming, venting, cooling channels and demolding requirements. These details are especially important for larger HDPE containers because uneven cooling or poor cavity matching can affect appearance, dimensions and wall thickness consistency.

Customers can choose from S50C, P20, 2316 stainless steel, S136H and 7075 aluminum according to budget, expected output and mold life. Beryllium copper inserts can also be added in selected areas when improved heat transfer is required.
